When a company is evaluating their energy usage and looking to reduce costs, one of the first things to consider is reducing load. This can be done in a number of ways but the easiest is to replace lighting fixtures with energy efficient LEDs. HPS can conduct lighting audits, counting number and type of fixtures and determine the optimum LED fixtures. The cost of these retrofits can often be mitigated by subsidies from Hawaii Energy, a state-funded organization charged with providing incentives for energy efficiency.
